RIDE FOR HOPE

“There is Hope!” This is the message that a group of cancer survivors and professionals involved in the fight against cancer will convey to communities of South Africa as they cycle from Pretoria to Cape Town. People in the many villages, towns and cities that they will be passing through during their 1800km ride will learn that cancer is not a death sentence and of the important role that nuclear medicine plays in ensuring that "There is Hope". All proceeds of the project will go to CANSA.

Due to down pouring rain and gail force winds the cyclists decided not the risk injury by cycling in this weather. Whe travelled this stage by car.
